I purchased this to breath new life into my 'emachines' T2682, which only had 256 mb of RAM. It look less than 5 minutes to install and I noticed a big improvement as soon as I powered it up! It used to take FOREVER to start my PC. Now it cranks up fast and applications start up in a fraction of the time it used to take. I highly recommend this upgrade to anyone who has an older sluggish PC.

This is my first RAM I ever installed but I didn't have any problem installing it, all you need is to find out the right RAM that goes for your computer and install it, its like inserting a CD in your CD player. It works great and my computer is much more faster than it was. The primary reason of mine behind installing more RAM was that I installed the Photoshop CS3 in my computer, which made my computer very slow. In order to work with Photoshop better I installed more RAM, which worked perfectly. Now I use it without any trouble and is fast enough for me as a digital photography student. This product worked great for me.

I recently purchased a memory upgrade for desktop from Crucial Technology via Amazon. In stores prices at other retail establishents had the 1GB stick at over 100$ if it was onhand, 140$ if a special order needed to be done. Crucial via Amazon, provided the items purchased I was looking for, for a reasonable price for both the product and the shipping costs. The product was as advertised, it was 100% compatible with my pc and came very easy to understand installation instructions. I would highly recommend both Amazon and Crucial for anyone who needs purchase quality hardware or software products at a reasonable price.
