Synopsis:

It's a jungle out there. Dress accordingly -- Series Premiere -- Movie exec Wendy Healy (Brooke Shields, "Suddenly Susan") does everything she can to balance career and family. Nico Reilly (Kim Raver, "24"), editor-in-chief of a hot fashion magazine, has her eye on becoming CEO. And free-spirited designer Victory Ford (Lindsay Price, "Beverly Hills, 90210") longs to make her dreams come true, and maybe find Mr. Right along the way. Armed with humor and strength, these three modern New York women support one another through the triumphs and tears that are all part of making it big in the Big Apple. I loved it! The stories of these women and their lives that so wonderfully intertwine to show "Grown-Up" Women with more on their minds than 'finding a man'. Oh, and I LOVE Paul Blackthorne!! I was more than pleasantly surprised to see him as Brooke Shields' characters' husband! The best part is to watch him acting in his native British accent. He's MY "McDreamy". LOL
Can't wait for the show! :-)

Ok, so I followed the necessary steps to download the free preview and have had NO ISSUES!! Everyone with the negative comments must not be doing it correctly or are running a non-compatable version of Windows. Obvious hint, must download the player first.

I feel this is VERY EASY and would definately download more movies and TV shows again!

I was so very anxious to download the pilot episode of Lipstick Jungle- and imagine--for free even!! I am tired of watching movies and sick of no new tv shows, etc. I really did not think I would like it very much, but boy---was I wrong!! I loved it....cannot wait to see the rest. I did not realize that Andrew McCarthy is in it. I like him alot...but the real kicker is the new guy-Robert Buckley. WOW!! Some cliches are too apparent, but I think that this really has a chance. Although Brooke is not my favorite, she seemed to do a pretty good job..and Kim Raver is excellent, as always. I think it is well worth your time to watch it. Thanks Amazon, for the opportunity to see it first!!

The show has the right mix of fantasy and reality. The fantasy: great jobs, gorgeous men, fabulous shoes and good hair every day. The reality: the struggle to balance work and family, the love/hate relationship and the support of your friends. I really hope people give this show the chance it deserves.

Awesome Series that's Relatable to Modern, Ambitious Women February 26, 2008

As an ambitious woman in her twenties, it's refreshing to finally see powerful, accomplished, career-minded women portrayed in a real way. The plot is exciting & enticing. It's very relatable and charismatic. Not only do they portray the glamour but they portray real struggles (however dramatized of course) that contemporary, accomplished women must face. Each character portrays a women in a different phase of life, which makes the show so interesting and I feel like I've learned something that may be useful.
